Project Overview
Spectra Laboratories contacted BLR Sign Systems in anticipation of a move they were making to a new facility in Milpitas, CA.
After an initial meeting to better understand Spectra Laboratories requirements, BLR Sign
Systems provided an overal project plan for meeting Spectra Laboratories' signage goals and objectives.
The plan included:
Project Scope
Thorough assessment of the project scope including type and quantity of signs, locations, dimensions and copy/graphics.
In total over 500 signs would be required including room ID, exterior building signage, equipment labeling, employee name plates,
employee messaging displays, evacuation maps and more.
Design
After approval of project scope, BLR provided design and specifications for the 500 + signs in the approved project scope.
Fabrication
With the design phase complete, BLR embarked on an aggressive fabrication schedule to produce all signs in the project.
Fabrication included engraving, silk screening, vinyl, custom display frames and more.
Installation
Included in the project scope was a detailed installation plan that began as fabrication of signs were completed.
Fabrication and installation ran parallel until the project was complete.
